Proeftuin Noordwijk

Partner activity: Proeftuin Noordwijk is a concept that inspires Noordwijk chefs. The chefs are inspired by seasonal produce grown locally. This principle harks back to the 17th century, when people lived life by eating with the seasons for a healthy and energetic lifestyle. The dishes change seasonally.

Our contribution: Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin’s restaurants are inspired by this concept. Mitchell Hendriks on behalf of Grand hotel Huis ter Duin and Breakers Beach House created the dish truffle gnocchi with mushrooms , celeriac, sauce of truffle , crispy potato which is based on test garden Noordwijk. Restaurant Latour has been inspired by creating a dish with bark lord , Jerusalem artichoke , vadouvan and macadamia nut.
