At Restaurant Latour, everything is about finesse, experience and perfection; all the way down to the smallest detail. An essential part of that experience is the tableware on which the dishes are presented. Each plate and dish contributes to the story told by the kitchen, making it an unmistakable part of the overall experience at the restaurant.
The collaboration with Maravillas and the owner Esther proved to be a perfect match in this. Her pronounced eye for detail, great flexibility and broad, handmade range made it possible to develop a unique tableware concept together. What started with a number of small bowls for the amuses, has now grown into a custom-made tableware line designed exclusively for Latour.
Shaped by the hand, baked by fire
The tableware’s design and use of colour were deliberately chosen in line with Latour’s philosophy: the harmony between land and sea. Silty tones and earthy nuances alternate and subtly enhance the presentation of the dishes. This creates an ambiance between dish, plate and surroundings; a refined balance that takes the gastronomic experience to a higher level.
However, the creative journey between Latour and Maravillas does not stop at the current result. Behind the scenes, we are already working on the next step within the tableware line: an innovative design that has not yet been introduced to the market. An exclusive element that makes lunch or dinner at Latour even more unique and creates a lasting impression.
